List of Lessons

Lesson 1: The Mission at Hand! The students will learn about the solar system using Inspiration software created documents.
Lesson 2: The Solar System-All Mixed Up! The students will be given a flawed document in which they must research the correct information and using Word, reproduce an accurate document.
Lesson 3: Missions to the Planets! The students will use a laserdisc to discover the universe.
Lesson 4: The Math of My Solar System! Using Excel, the students will analyze data, put in a spreadsheet, and create a graph.
Lesson 5: Visualize the Planets! Using content-specific software, the students will learn more about the solar system and create an actual quiz question.
Lesson 6: You're the teacher! The students will create a book using KidWorks Deluxe about the solar system for children at a lower grade level to read.
Lesson 7: Going Where No Man has Gone Before! The students will complete a Webquest and a Powerpoint presentation.
Lesson 8: Let's go on an Excursion! The students will participate in an XCursion activity.
Lesson 9: Show Us What You've Learned! The students will create a pictoral representation using KidPix Studio of what they have learned and place it on a bulletin board.
Lesson 10: OK, Now Show Us! Using Powerpoint, the students will create a presentation of what they have researched during the whole unit.
